Shorter days, lower occupancy, the election… and yet, we rise!

🥦 Overall “You have a very healthy business,” that’s what our CPA at JCaldwell Consulting, said after auditing our 2024 books. Huge thanks again to Venture North for our services grant that covered this.

🤖 Tech - HUGE wins with our long-standing website security issues. Getting Mcafee, BrightCoud, Norton Security, and more to update our site ranking is a big win.

💞 Humans - Our team transitioned into their off-season schedules, Kendall took a vacay and our community continues to rally around us.

☕ Merch - new gay sweatshirts and mugs are here for holi-gay gifting

🎨 Events - Secondhand Social Club Art, Craft, and Nature Retreat was a great weekend of connection, creation, and healing.

🛠️ Property - Upgraded the final 14 old queen bed frames, added new coffee tables and proactively upgraded the plumbing in several of the rooms.

📈 Performance - We exceed our revenue goal by 5% - with 112% year-over-year growth. Amazing!

👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏽 Community - Hosted the Bear Lake Triginta Club ladies, attended the Manistee Tourism annual meeting at Hampton Inn, toured Armory Youth Project in Manistee, and we’re getting connected with many Manistee-based non-profits-addressing-homelessness-, cycles of poverty, and women’s resource gaps.
